Original Sokos Hotel Puijonsarvi stimulates the senses of hotel guests with artistic experiences. Partanen & Lamusuo designed and implemented four different dynamic visual art works for the hotel corridors, based on works presented at the Kuopio Dance Festival, such as Dada Masilo’s Swan Lake and Tero Saarinen Company’s Third Practice.
The works of art are multi-level works, with dynamic light running in the background of the metallic part. When a guest enters the hotel corridor, the artwork comes to life with light, creating a dynamic movement that triggers a piece that plays with music and dance.
